Vision and Mission

We are dedicated to helping our local community to get the best support possible by enabling them to enjoy a variety of experiences in a friendly, welcoming, caring and empathetic environment.

Our Vision

We ensure that the people of Mid Nottinghamshire have compassionate care throughout their treatment journey and when approaching the end of life.

Our Mission

We are committed to caring for a patient’s needs, thereby enabling them to live in comfort, with the dignity and the degree of independence and control of life that is appropriate.

A hospice is more than just a building. It is a philosophy of care that seeks to provide physical, emotional and spiritual support, not only for the patient requiring palliative care, but also for family and friends.

We further believe that each patient has a right to be informed of their diagnosis if they so wish, to allow them to make realistic decisions about their future, thus leaving them as free as possible to attain mental and spiritual peace

  • To serve the local community of Mansfield and Ashfield, Newark and Sherwood in the best ways we can in the provision of palliative care.
